Spray Rail

When removing or installing the spray rail, be aware the fasteners are screwed into unreinforced fiberglass. If you try to turn them too tight they will tear the glass.

When removing the spray rail, there is some sealant between the rail and the deck. Once the spray rail is off the sealant can typically be best removed by warming it with a heat gun or hair dryer and working it off with a plastic putty knife.

When installing the spray rail, if some holes have been oversized you can pre-epoxy the hole and re-drill (3/16"). Apply a bead of caulk along the bottom of the rail and over the screw holes. Finish the job like you'd caulk around a sink. If you don't use caulk water will flow under the spray rail.
